Bangkok Fashion

I was meaning to write about the fashion that made me totally adopt instantly, since the day I got back from my much needed trip to Thailand, away from the hustle bustle of my daily schedule and me and my god knows; it was indeed therapeutic .

With my limited knowledge I cannot claim to have mastered the art or have known my style yet completely so i’ am always up for experiments and trying new stuff to figure out my style better.

Okay, getting back to the topic that the place is so inspiring in terms of fashion and what not. Bangkok is famous for its night markets and various street spots in affordable price for the trendiest clothes. But they could be a little uncomfortable with their zips and fabric so you’ve to be careful with that and the rest is assured that the clothes are totally going to up your dressing game.

I’ve also explored some of the malls and found Platinum mall has all you need, all in one place from the top to the bottom, you name it and you have it.

Here are some of my items:

Skirts are most worn item there, so yeah…
Note: to get access to the Grand palace, one need to cover their knees and arms.
also this one fabric make its way back in fashion every other year. Animal print!
This was an impulse buy and honestly I don’t regret.

Hope you enjoyed and to see more of my journey here is my Instagram handle

Until next time…

Adiós!

My Little Getaway

Not just a hotel for namesake, but Hotel Green Park is the perfect place for me to hangout, to click pictures, and of course: relax. For the past two years, I have been a frequent visitor to the hotel (at times twice in a month), and the place offers just the perfect blend of ambience and comfort to dissolve the tiredness of the journey.

Dhoti style got me hooked.

When it comes to the saree, the choices are indefinite in terms of colours, fabric, pattern and what not; but we all agree when it comes to draping, we end up choosing the traditional way and that gets a little repetitive if you’re a saree lover like me, who can live in one for life; then you’ve to try all the possible draping that is taking toll over internet. Goa: Connecting unmarried and married dots.

On our very first date, I remember him telling me how he wished to go to Goa and have an experience that no other place can offer you.

I, on the other side of the table, judging him which I shouldn’t have but I had my reasons and one of many reason was, if I’m going to meet this person ever again?

Wanna know what happened next?

Well we’re married for more than a year now and that trip also got ticked off his list, last year and now I’m sharing this to the world as an unforgettable memory.

Almost in the end of December we planned to fly down to this smallest state of India; Goa, that claims to give you the best quality of life.

We had a six day long trip which is a decent amount of time that we devoted to the place. Made a three day booking at a home stay in Old Goa and availed the luxury of homely Goan feeling and their food.

Christmassy!

On the day of arrival, it was late by the time we reached so we quickly freshened up and headed with our scooty (which our host already rented for us) to the nearby market which took us to the heart of the city; Panaji for a quick stroll and ended up Continue reading Goa: Connecting unmarried and married dots.
